Surf yoga is an intensive workout based on key hatha yoga asanas with elements of breathing and articular gymnastics. Much attention is paid to stretching, twisting, balance exercises and connection of yoga with surfing. Experience in yoga or surfing is not required. This yoga method helps experienced surfers to stay fit away from the ocean, to relieve muscle tension after surf sessions, restore flexibility and plasticity of muscles, fascia, ligaments, to protect joints. For begginners in surfing — this practice helps to strengthen the back, arms, shoulder girdle, prepare the body for surfing.
